Welcome to Lessie Moore Elementary!

 Hello and welcome to Lessie Moore. My name is Pam Walker, and I am honored to serve as principal of this amazing school. It is a privilege to support the students, families, and community of Lessie Moore. I am truly grateful to be a part of this journey with you.

A little about me for those of you who are new to our school: I am a proud mother of two adult children and a grandmother to 3 amazing grandchildren. I have dedicated my professional life to education. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and spent 15 wonderful years in the classroom. In 2012, I received my Master's in Administration and Supervision in Education, and in 2017 I stepped into education leadership. For the past four years, I've had the joy of serving as principal here at Lessie Moore. 

Our school has experienced tremendous transformation, especially in how we educate and support our students. At our school, teaching and building meaningful relationships with our students is at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child can grow and deserves the highest quality education. 

Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a school environment where students don't just learn, they thrive. Alongside strong academics, we encourage extracurricular involvement and aim to make school a joyful, engaging place. We want our students to develop a love for learning, become confident readers, and grow into responsible, compassionate citizens.
